Spanish Prospect Joins Modest! Golf Family

Former World Amateur Golf Ranked number three golfer Ivan Cantero Gutierrez has joined Modest! Golf management company on a long term relationship. Ivan, who competes in this week’s Northern Ireland Open hosted by Modest! Golf has entrusted the team to look after all of his professional golf affairs.

Ivan, who hails from Llanes in Northern Spain, has had a very successful amateur career with recent wins in 2016 that included The French Amateur Championship, Campeonata de Barcelona, Copa de Andalusia and Campeonata de Canaries.  He also represented his country in The Junior Ryder Cup 2014, The Eisenhower Trophy 2016 and The 2016 St Andrews Trophy where he gained a crucial two and a half points which contributed to Europe’s tie with The Great Britain and Ireland team.

Ivan who will be heading to The European Tour School at the end of the season said of his new relationship “I’m excited to be joining the team at Modest and can’t wait to take my golf career forward with them, they have been great to work with and it’s an exciting opportunity for me”
